Stuart is Pigott Chapman’s Chief Executive Officer, responsible for setting and driving the strategic goals of the company and overseeing the day-to-day management of the firm. As the most senior member of the dealing room since joining in January 1992, he holds extensive experience in this industry, especially in the domestic market sector. He has also served as the president of the Sri Lanka Money Broking Association (SLMBA) from 2015 – 2016 and presently serves as director on the board of SLMBA.
Under Stuart’s leadership, the company has ventured into new regions and products while streamlining its front and back office integration. As a broker, he skillfully negotiates prices with counterparties to secure optimal solutions for his clients. This involves arranging swaps, engineering new pathways, and helping to execute transactions in FX, call money, dollar deposits, and fixed income securities such as bonds and bills. As team head, Stuart ensures staff well-being and balances the needs of various stakeholders to maintain Pigott’s forward momentum. His composed demeanor, foresight, and empathy support this role.
When at work, nothing pleases Stuart more than successfully closing a challenging deal and to see the team achieve a successful day at work. That truly makes his day.
Outside work, Stuart is an animal enthusiast with a particular fondness for dogs. He has two large dogs at home and enjoys outdoor activities such as walking and gardening.

Chris joined Pigotts in 2009 at the age of 19, becoming one of the youngest brokers on the team and subsequently the youngest qualified money broker in Sri Lanka. Since 2014, he has been the Head of Global Markets at Pigotts, responsible for assisting clients in executing profitable deals in dollar and other currency deposits. His role encompasses price negotiation between counterparties, creative thinking in a dynamic environment, and providing leadership and strategic direction for business development. As Head of Global Markets, Chris has been integral in growing the department, leading the company into newer markets and enhancing our global presence.
Emphasizing long-term and meaningful business relationships, Chris has developed close friendships with many of his clients around the world. He thrives in fast-paced settings and enjoys the challenge of pursuing higher targets. Believing that hard work, dedication, discipline, empathy and a positive mindset are crucial for success, he instills these values within his team.
Chris holds an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire, a professional Diploma in Treasury and Risk Management, and a Certificate in Money Broking.
Outside work, he actively engages in and follows crypto and securities markets. He follows international cricket and also makes time to play cricket with friends.

In this role, he expertly facilitates financial transactions between parties in the global money markets. He connects entities seeking to borrow or lend in various currencies, such as US Dollars, Euros, GBP and Japanese Yen, all the while, negotiating terms, creating opportunities and ensuring smooth transactions for his clients.
Sharuka particularly enjoys engaging with diverse individuals across numerous geographic locations. Building relationships with clients and counterparts from different regions provides him valuable insights into global financial markets and enables him to develop a comprehensive understanding of economic dynamics worldwide.
Sharuka finds great reward in supporting his clients and helping them enhance their returns on deals. He firmly believes in hard work, dedication, adaptability, goal-setting, a positive mindset and a commitment to team work.

He is also an active member of the company’s futsal team, promoting a positive atmosphere both inside and outside the office. Anuja joined Pigott Chapman on 1st February 2013. As head of foreign exchange, local markets, his role involves achieving client targets, negotiating deals, structuring swaps, and ultimately bringing deals to execution. Having been an outstanding sportsman and also part of the rugby national team of Sri Lanka, Anuja brings to Pigotts and his clients, a passion and a burning drive to achieve targets and better returns for his clients.
Anuja firmly believes that success is hard-won and must be pursued relentlessly. At work, he is a driving force and continually pushes his team and himself to chase loftier targets.

As Head of Money Market, Domestic Markets, Salman oversees all monetary transactions and actively participates in dollar-rupee swaps, treasury bills, bonds, and dollar deposit operations.
A key figure in the training of newcomers, Salman emphasizes hard work, commitment, and self-confidence for professional success and growth. At Piggott’s, he recognizes the importance of teamwork and fostering trust amongst colleagues and clients alike.

He plays a crucial role in streamlining front and back office coordination, aligning and addressing the needs of various stakeholders within the firm.
As Head of Back Office Operations, Prabhu is responsible for preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and reports, coordinating external audits, liaising with clients, commercial banks, and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Additionally, he manages the timely upkeep of other company-related documents and tax payments.
Prabhu enjoys the learning opportunities gained from engaging with different Pigott’s team members and balancing various needs.
In his personal life, Prabhu prioritizes living in the present and making time for activities he enjoys. He cherishes time spent with family, reading, travelling, and watching TV during his leisure hours.
